A blog on architecture, life, and that avant la lettre...

My day yesterday was very eventful. In my Treasures of Provence class we hiked down to the bottom of the valley(via Roman roadway) to the Maison Basse. It's a Provincal farm house that has been rebuilt and restored since roman time. SCAD is now restoring it to create studio space, and some other useful rooms. We were also able to hear a bit of the bloody history between Bonnieux and Lacoste. It almost made me nervous standing in the valley between the two. haha
I also presented a powerpoint last night to the student population on the Vernissage.[This one of my responsibilities as the Student coordinator] I was a bit nervous, though after I got going it ran smother than anticipated. Photos illustrate the aforementioned. Enjoy.
