I have so much to say, so it will all be abbreviated due to the amount of time I have.
Firstly, no one will believe the adventure I had making it to Lacoste. On my first flight from Pittsburgh to Paris I was suprised when the pilot came over the loud speaker and announced that we were having technical difficulties, but like all of the other passengers I could do nothing but try to remain calm and ignore the fact that we were over the middle of the Atlantic. After we rerouted out of our way and landed in St. John's Canada, a city on the tip of Newfoundland. It was when we landed that the Canadian police boarded the plane, and went to the very back of the aircraft and escorted a man off the plane. The captain then informed the people of the plane that the man had been making threats to the crew and making reference to 9/11. So, after sitting an hour in there I missed my connecting flight to Marsailles...
When I got to Charles de Gaulle Airport I then had to get a different connecting flight. I then waited an hour and a half before I could get on a connecting flight. When we road into Marsaille the weather was terrible! we had to make three different attempts to land, but by that point all I wanted was a shower. When we got off the flight I had to take a cab to Lacost another 45 minutes.I was very tired when I finally got here, but at least I've settled in well overall.
Another update to come on my next break as well as pictures.
