Maybe I couldn't stay away.
Sooo many new things going on, and I had to chill out and write..with dollop of stress on top of it all as well of course.
School is going well. I love all my classes and again have found myself taking things I never would have guessed. I am also the research assistant for the last professor I would have ever guessed, which I think in the long run will be good that I'm forcing myself to be exposed to new areas. Obama was in Charlottesville the first day of class, which was similar to last year's first day of class when we had the 2011 earthquake. I've come to the conclusion that Virginia really knows how to kick things off with a bang.
Ph. D. applications are coming along well, I have scheduled a few visits and interviews, which I think will be very crucial to getting accepted. I also finished my Mississippi project.. The outcome wasn't exactly what I was expecting but I think it will reflect well on me in the long run.
I've been drafting a playlist that reflects my life. these are favorite songs, that are chronologically in relation to when I listened to them. Early stuff, High school, time at SCAD, France, and a few from today. I think this is a really good exercise for people to do, and is something that has made me reflect a lot. When I get it done I'll post. it.
My niece and nephew are growing up.. I went last week to my nephews birthday, he got roller skates and a lot of sporting equipment..and a helmet(probably the most important item)
