A blog on architecture, life, and that avant la lettre...

It's been less than a week since my last post. (Score one for the home team.) I have much to say.
The most bizarre yet amazing thing happened to me last night. I can't really discuss it. Do all things really happen for a reason? Is time an enemy or ally? I feel like I'm on raft somedays. Even though I have several people around offering their opinion of how to navigate the rapids--when all is said and done--I'm the only one on the raft. I'm the only one on the river. The journey is my own.
I've adopted a new defense mechanism. Rather than flight or fight, I've decided that I'm more of a READ and STUDY type of animal. I guess that explains why I live in the library. It also helps to have one of the biggest art and design libraries in the country to hide out in.

My riddle from last time wasn't very successful. I had a few questions. For those of you who were a bit confused: My SESAH paper is on Cass Gilbert's plan for the West Virginia state Capitol Building focusing on aspects of the plan that solved the state's identity crisis.

Until next time-->
letting life in the moment confirm the fact that everything happens for a reason.
