Chatham Cresent-Ardsley Park
I am extremelyexcited about the fact that Savannah's first suburb is turning 100 years old next year. This will present my Research Methods class a great research opportunity and a group project that could possibly lead to publication. We will be exploring the different aspects of the neighborhoods history from the urban plan, stylistic variations, and other more in depth topics. I can't wait to see what this project brings.I've tried to include a picture of the neighborhood I've found around. It's not your typical suburb-that is for sure. flickr.com
I am random,I over analyze and I love life. I'm a reader, cafe rat, and list maker. I love art and design and am an amateur painter. I love the built environment. Originally, I grew up in hills of West Virginia, but am currently a student at University of Virginia. I'm obsessed with architecture-both historic and new.My appreciation outweighs my criticisms. I consider myself to be a liberal and christian, focused yet wild,an artist with spacial issues to overcome, a planner whose future is undefined, someone who has it all figured out but could fill a room with questions. I love life, and the people I surround myself with. I'm enjoying the ride with NO REGRETS, As well as working to perfect my french.
